Summary of Board Meetings 14/3/2012 and 18/4/2012 |

At the Board of Directors meetings held on 14 March 2012 and 18 April 2012 it was resolved:
- Retain Membership fees at 2011/12 levels for 2012/13
- The Company By-Laws and internal club's By-Laws be reviewed by the Rules Committee to establish if any updating is required to reflect any change in responsibility for committees due to the appointment of the Bowls Development Officer.
- MIBC Ltd's Mid Year General Meeting be held 10am Sunday 24th June 2012
- Club's solicitor to draft a Special Resolution for consideration of members at the General Meeting, regarding the introduction of the triennial rule for election of directors. The triennial rule is part of the NSW Government's recently announced recommended changes to Licensed Clubs' governance requirements.
- To propose a Special Resolution to members at a future AGM, to cease the requirement to utilize the State Electoral Commission for the conduct of Board elections.
- Approve the purchase of permanent outdoor heaters for the Rockpool gardens area at a cost of less than $10,000.
- To approve the Finance Committee recommendation of reducing 2011/2012 Capital Budget from $1,050,000 to $900,000 to ensure net operational cash flows exceed capital expenditure.
- Approve retention of Fortune Fours prizemoney at $30,000 for 2013 and to modify the conditions for the 2012 August Men's Triples to a two bowl triples event offering $13,000 in prizemoney, as recommended by the Bowls Committee.
- Approve MIBC Ltd donating Green Fees collected on MIWBC's "Bowl for Cancer" Charity Day to the McGrath Foundation.
- Adopt the following revised travel allowance policy as recommended by the Bowls Committee.

De-amalgamation finalised on 22 February |
|
Following the passage of the required legislation and associated policy and operational documents by the NSW Government, De-amalgamation was finalised on 22 February 2012.
The Tura premises began independent operation as the Tura Beach Country Club on this date.
