Summary of Board Meeting 7 December 2011 |

At the Board of Directors meeting held on 7 December 2011 it was resolved:
- To note advice from the Minister's Office that the NSW Government may now require the relevant government department to draft new Regulations relating to the De-amalgamation Legislation before it makes this Legislation effective. If this decision is taken, the date of effect of the de-amalgamation of MIBC will need to be delayed beyond 23 December 2011.
- To authorise the Chairman and Deputy Chairman to execute the Deed of Transfer to transfer the Tura Beach Golf Course Crown Lease to the new Tura Beach Country Club Ltd (TBCC).
- To authorise the Chairman and Deputy Chairman to execute the Section 88B instrument to formally register the easement over the drive way situated on a small part of freehold land at Tura known as Lot 1442 in favour of the owner of Lot 1441 (TBCC).
- To give in principle approval to the draft terms of the Deed of De-amalgamation as drafted by the Club's solicitor and to forward to TBCC's solicitor.
- To approve the purchase of two new gaming machines (approx $44,000) for Tura, to be funded from MIBC's Tura Venue Capital Expenditure Budget.
- To undertake remedial works to ensure the existing Tura venue disabled car parks comply with the relevant Australian Standards as directed by BVSC.
- Approve Category 2 ClubGRANTS for Tathra Wharf to Waves, Merimbula Big Game & Lakes Angling Club, Down South Jazz Club and complimentary room hire for 25 not-for-profit community organisations.
- Approve 109 new and transferring memberships comprising:
- Staff & Social Members - 103
- TBCC Country Golf - 1
- TBCC Rest Golf - 1
- MIBC Bowls/TBCC Social - 2
- Junior Gym - 2
The next monthly Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday 25 January 2012
The 2011 AGM will be held on 22 January 2012.
