INFORMATION FROM THE BOARD
At the Board of Directors meeting held on Wednesday 17 December 2008 it was resolved to:
- Conduct the official function to celebrate the opening of the renovation of Club Sapphire Merimbula on Sunday evening 8 March 2009.
- Invite secretaries of each internal club plus two social members to participate in the Members’ Consultative Committee.
- Approve a $20 subsidy of the cost of bowling shirts for the TBMBC. Subsidy to be paid from the sections funds.
- Agree to Tura Bowling clubs’ request to approve waiving of joining fees and bowling membership fees for the reminder of this financial year for a Tura Bowling membership promotion.
- Bowling and golf green fees be increased by $1 on 1 January 2009 and a further $1 on 1 July 2009.
- Investigate potential administration arrangements required to implement a roll up fee for non-bowling members.
- Paint the front of the Merimbula venue and implement limited signage front and back.
- Approve donations and sponsorships for Sapphire Coast Turf Club, MACCAT New Years Eve Fireworks, and to round up MIMBC wrong bias box funds to $500 and donate to Imlay House.
- Approve 54 new or transferring memberships comprising:
- Golf: 2
- Country Golf: 1
- MIBC Bowls: 1
- Gym Junior: 2
- Social: 48
The next monthly Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday 28 January at 3.00pm.
