At the Board of Directors meeting held on Wednesday 23 September 2009 it was resolved to:

1. Subsidise the ticket price for the 16 November 2009 Members Night to reduce ticket price to $30 per head.
2. Recommend to the Members that Ray Caterson be re-appointed as Patron for a further 12 months.
3. Reduce the cost of the irrigation pumping station upgrade at Tura by funding through cash reserves instead of leasing.
4. Approve changes to MIMBC Bi-Laws to facilitate the inclusion of Social Bowls Selection Committee Chairman as a member of the Management Committee.
5. Approve the first stage of signage upgrade at Merimbula and on the courtesy bus ($26,000).
6. Approve the purchase of a gourmet BBQ grill for Rockpool and an increase in contractors rent to offset this cost ($12,000).
7. Approve sponsorship of Candelo A.H. & D. F. Association, and Merimbula Public School AFL team participation at State Final.
8. Approve 130 new or transferring memberships comprising:
   • Bowls Merimbula: 2
   • Bowls Tura: 2
   • Country Golf: 1
   • Gym Junior: 1
   • Social: 70
   • Staff: 3
   • Holiday: 51

The next monthly Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday 28 October at 3.00pm.
