At the Board of Directors meeting held on Friday 8 January 2010 it was resolved to:

1. Conduct the 2010 AGM at 10am on Sunday 24th October 2010 and the Mid Year General Meeting at 8pm on Monday 22nd March 2010.
2. Defer inspection of the Lakes Entrance synthetic bowling greens so further information regarding the various alternative surfaces can be investigated further.
3. Close Merimbula Greens from 11th January until 2nd February 2010 for maintenance.
4. Confirm the role of the new Sports Media and Promotion Committee is to promote and encourage participation in the Club’s Bowling and Golf activities and to bring new ideas to the Board that may increase the sporting membership through new initiatives.
5. Approve MIMBC Wrong Bias Box funds being rounded up to $600 and donated to Imlay House Nursing Home.
6. Approve a “drawn till won” members draw of $1000 being conducted at Tura on Wednesday 3 February 2010 to launch the Club Sapphire Social Group.
7. Approve the attendance of two Club representatives at the 2010 ClubsNSW AGM and Annual Conference and Trade Show in October.
8. Approve 73 new or transferring memberships comprising:
   • Country Golf: 1
   • Bowls Merimbula: 2
   • Gym Junior: 1
   • Golf Junior: 1
   • Social: 67
   • Staff: 1

The next monthly Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday 10 February at 3.30pm.
