Information from Steering Committee 7 September 2011

At the Meeting of 7th September 2011,the Steering Committee resolved to:

  1. Meet with all Tura Beach staff at 8.30am Wednesday 14th September, to advise them of recent developments and progress towards de-amalgamation, and answer questions;
  2. Approve an appointment period of 3 years for the new Golf Professional contract with a strong recommendation to the incoming Board for a 3 year option;
  3. Formally appoint Christine Ward to the position of House Manager at the salary previously determined with standard employment terms and conditions;
  4. Further pursue the issue of engaging a qualified structural engineer to examine the leak in the main dam wall;
  5. Support Barry Thistlethwayte's initiative to survey members who have downgraded or not renewed their membership and identify reasons or issues etc;
  6. Further consider the issue of Sub Club financials, with a view to establishing a workable and mutually acceptable arrangement.
